Setting the Stage
Setting the Stage was a project I have received during my first second year of MA Illustration. It has, however, gone beyond the limits that were restricted, and became a creation of its own. My ultimate goal was to create two large illustrations, decpicting the theatre stage. The first one I created was supposed to be set for a masquerade ball in Hell. The second one was inspired with Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights". I had to design the stage decorations, the architectural structure of the theatre separately, and deign costumes for the actors and dancers who appeared in the finished pieces. It was a challenging and extrfemely satisfying process, and I am at present working on the third and final piece : Heaven, the City of Angels.
